Eric Nelson

Drums and Percussion

Eric, born and raised in Northern California, began his musical career at the age of 12.  He studied jazz throughout his school years and continued his lessons under the direction of the great Cuz Cousinou.  During the 70's, he switched gears and developed a hard hitting Rock&Roll style reflective of that era.

Since that time, his love of drumming has led him to many styles of playing including R&B, Soul, Funk, R&R, Jazz, and Country.  He  has recorded and performed with artists from bands such as The Rowan Brothers, Bill Burgess, Osage, Al Stewart,  Keith Allen, Huey Lewis, New Riders, Jerry Lightfoot and Chris James.
